Lady Gaga came out as Harley Quinn for f*
The first season on the set of the upcoming “Joker” follows in New York City on Saturday.
The 36-year-old singer and actress filmed scenes at Manhattan’s City Hall for Todd Phillips’ “Joker: Folie à Deux,” which will see the return of Joaquin Phoenix in the titular role.

The “Just Dance” hitmaker wore a crimson lace dress with tulle sleeves over a black and white diamond corset top with black leather minis and diamond sheer boots.
Her blonde hair bounced back from her forehead and her black harlequin eyes sported makeup with red lipstick and blush.
LADY GAGA CONFIRMED THAT JOACHIN PHOENIX IS FOLLOWING THE STAR.
The 13-time Grammy Award winner was surrounded by hundreds of meters as the scene was filmed on the steps of City Hall. She was seen among the crowd of protesters as she was led into the building by Gotham City police officers.
Protesters held banners and signs that said “Free clowns,” “Joker Marry Me” and “Justice for clowns.” In one scene, Gaga turned to face the crowd and raised her hand before being led into the building by officers in military gear.
“Joker: Folie a Deux” is an adaptation of Phillips’ 2019 movie “Joker”, which told the original story of the classic DC villain. The film became the highest grossing R-rated film, and Phoenix won the best actor Oscar for his portrayal of a failed clown turned nihilistic villain.
Last June, Phillips confirmed that a sequel was in development when he shared a photo on Instagram of a screen shot of him and “Joker” co-writer Scott Silver and Phoenix reading his screenplay.
In August, Gaga revealed that she had joined the project in a post that she shared on social media. Although his role has not been officially confirmed, it is widely speculated that Dr. Play as Harleen Quinzel/Harley Quinn, a psychiatrist who falls in love with the Joker. The latest set of photos seem to confirm the casting.
On Valentine’s Day, Phillips teased the romance between the two in a post he shared on Instagram. He posted a photo in which Gaga’s character was seen for the first time as she hugged Phoenix the clown.
Gaga last appeared on the big screen in 2021 with Patrizia Reggiani in Ridley Scott’s “House of Gucci” stars. She won a Golden Globe Award for her performance in “American Horror Story: Hotel,” and was nominated for a Best Actress Academy Award for 2013’s “A Star Is Born.”
Harley Quinn was most recently played by Margot Robbie in 2016’s “Suicide Squad,” 2020’s “Birds of Prey,” and 2021’s “Suicide Squad.” In a December interview with Entertainment Tonight, Robbie shared that he was waiting for Gaga to take on the role.
“I think he’s going to do an amazing job. He’s so excited. I was all hoping that Harley could have become one of those characters, more like Batman or Hamlet, that’s been handed down by actor to actor. Everyone gets to play them,” Robbie told the outlet. “Yeah, I think it’s just a belief in that character that people want to see in multiple iterations. It’s exciting.”
